Yale study spotlights FDA's ineffectiveness in ensuring drug safety
Coffee Party USA's insight:

Thursday, March 06, 2014 by: David Gutierrez, staff writer

(NaturalNews) The FDA's standards for approving new drugs are inconsistent and lacking in important areas, according to an analysis conducted by researchers from Yale University and published in the Journal of the American Medical Association.

"Not all FDA approvals are created equally," researcher Nicholas Downing said.

According to the researchers, the study is the first to systematically examine the FDA's drug approval standards, and it calls into question the assumption that all drugs prescribed in the United States are safe or effective.

Common Cause – Candidate Questionnaire

Common Cause – Candidate Questionnaire | Coffee Party News | Scoop.it

Candidate Questionnaire

For many decades, Common Cause Pennsylvania has surveyed political candidates’ views on good government issues. Over the years, the focus has changed as previous problems have been solved and new issues have arisen.

Here are the 2014 results from the candidates for Governor, State Senate, and State House of Representatives.  All 203 House seats, and 25 of the 50 Senate seats are up for election this year.  If your elected officials have not responded to the questionnaire, call them and ask why they are not interested in government integrity issues.  Let us know the response you get.  If you get your representative to agree to respond, we will update the website with his or her response.
