by JESSICA ENGLISH and ERIC BYLER, Coffee Party USA
During today's broadcast of The Bottom Line with Jessica English, we push back against the narrative of One Percent Media that characterizes the Occupy Movement as purposeless and degenerate. Above is a video by Eric Byler and Annabel Park, shot on October 1 & 2, 2011 at Occupy DC. The video demonstrates that, prior to the wave of police crackdowns and One Percent Media propaganda, the Occupy Movement as "basically the Coffee Party but younger."
Please listen to our show where we discuss the narrative war to shape the meaning of the Occupy Movement, using the tools of One Percent Media, and unfortunately, law enforcement.
And, in this essay (with video), Eric Byler goes into greater depth on how propaganda disguised as "news" has corrupted the relationship of law enforcement with the Occupy movement, and with protesters in general.
