The Coffee Party USA membership believes that money-in-politics is the keystone issue in this republic's democracy today. WOMEN are now targets for special interests that use the influence of their political contributions to impose their religious, economic, and political will. Coffee Party Feminists is a part of the BE THE MEDIA project. It is intended to share evidence of special interest targeting and to report on actions being taken across America to defend and restore women's rights.

Being from a family of eight has some similarities to being a member of the United Nations, at least when it comes to politics. So, you may well imagine how the drama of the presidential election to date has played out: every way possible.
One of us was pro-Bernie from the get-go, and very active in his campaign. She considers the actions by the Democratic Party prior to and during the convention unforgivable, so she refuses to vote for the resulting nominee. She is so upset that, even though she has worked at her local polling place for decades, she refuses to work there this November.

Hillary Clinton’s nomination for president is an important milestone, but not the final step, along this path.
