Sooner4OU Commentary: Landry continues to lift the Sooners as needed to get the wins. All the while, setting Big12 and Sooner records along the way. Regardless of how you feel about him, he is a strong quarterback. Especially, given the quality of the two losses, which had to do with the whole team not just a position or two. I am glad he is doing well and the Sooners still have a legitimate shot at a BCS Bowl berth.
Article Excerpt: For the second straight week, Landry Jones threw for 500 yards in a Sooners victory. This week, he set school records for completions (46) and attempts (71) while throwing for exactly 500 yards in a memorable 51-48 overtime victory over rival Oklahoma State. In a game worthy of the name “Bedlam”, Jones passed Graham Harrell for the title of the Big 12′s all-time leading passer. He now has 16,124 career passing yards and became the first player in FBS history to throw for at least 3,000 yards and 26 touchdowns in each of his four seasons in college.
