In the United States energy corporations legally do not have to disclose what chemical mixture they are using in fracking fluids because of a 'conflict of interest' in which others can steal their fracking fluid mixture.  I'm not buying it.  The don't disclose so they can't trace it.  There's already been an overwhelming amount of evidence pointing to these fluids contaminating groundwater, soil and cascading through the trophic web.
