Myrtle Beach, SC, March 27, 2013 – The new Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR) opens April 2, 2013.
Passengers visiting the new Airport will be welcomed by colors, textures and experiences that will awaken the senses. To further enhance the experience the Airport has installed and placed “thermo sensitive wall panels” and “diamond benches,” by NunoErin throughout the terminal building.
“The introduction of NunoErin furniture into the new Myrtle Beach International Airport is just another way to maximize the experience for those people visiting the Airport” said Michael La Pier, Director of Airports. “The interactive, inspirational and artistic furniture brings a unique touch and a sense of fun into the Airport. Not only is the furniture artistic, but the pieces double as a children’s play area.”
“NunoErin furniture offers mesmerizing multi-sensory experiences that awaken the human desire to touch, play, and explore. By harnessing new technologies that respond to the body and environment, our furniture inspires wonder and curiosity, while bringing people together in new and unexpected ways” said founder Erin Hayne.
