How learning to love geography can help make the world a better place

How learning to love geography can help make the world a better place | Coaching | Scoop.it

"It’s a good time to reflect on what truly inspires us. What gives us, as individuals, our own sense of independence? And how can we apply that sense of joyful independence to help us engage more actively and participate more readily in the world—to make it a better place, even? Cultivating a better geographical and cultural appreciation for the world, in the next generation as well as in our own, is a pretty good place to start."

New blog post focusing on how goalkeepers can use sport psychology techniques to improve performance!

basiltweede's curator insight, September 6, 2015 11:10 PM

Wow, He is actually paying for one of my new found favorite team to watch in the EPL. And he is so right about the mental stress on goal keepers. as he stated in his interview, "goalkeepers need a special mentality and that some fans are unaware of the mental pressure of being a goalkeeper."  I did one season of goalkeeper for a community team because the regular goalkeeper was injured. Yes we won the league trophy but  I never do it again. Maybe in my case the ball was not around fast enough.

10 years of the A-League, and - profits aside - they're having a ball | Coaching | Scoop.it
Supporting Australian domestic football is no longer a dirty little secret. Wearing your local football team's jersey around town is no longer seen as a bold statement, rather part of a growing trend. It has been 10 years since the A-League was declared and as the club game approaches its first decade of full-time professionalism, the move into the mainstream of the Australian sporting consciousness has changed the way game is perceived.
