5. One type of cloud computing, SaaS, or software as a service, is one of the major forms of cloud computing. This type does not come at any cost to the consumer, and the consumer does not need any special hardware or software, just access to the internet. A major application of this is by Google through their Google apps (Drive and Gmail).

6. Another type of cloud computing is PaaS, or program as a service. This type is where the provider gives users access to their service, which is a development interface. The programs that are made by the user are stored on the cloud, and can be accessed by the user using the internet.

7. MSP or managed service providers are used by IT managers rather than the public. This is used to stop spam and viruses in emails that people may receive. This is important to a business to keep the local network safe from the viruses and spam.
