In theory you can now use Microsoft's cloud office to do what people take for granted in Google's cloud office: Enter a shared online space, co-edit a document, discuss and track revisions. The same set of features exists in both platforms, more or less. But the two platforms aspire to very different goals.

CRM – Customer relationship management solutions have been a total failure, as you would hardly find its association with the word ROI – Return on Investments. Does that ring a bell in your mind about what I want to convey?

One of the biggest failures of any CRM solution is; unchanged mind set of your people/employees and vendors – who are the end users. How inclined are they on using this solution customized and designed to empower them?

The general consensus about big data has been that it's too expensive to move. But what if you could use remote backup copies in the cloud for analytics, app dev, and other applications?

StackStorm today announced that it has extended the reach of its open source IT automation integration framework to include support for Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Blob Storage and Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) on the Microsoft Azure cloud. In addition, StackStorm announced that its software is now certified for distribution on the Microsoft Azure cloud itself.

StackStorm CEO Evan Powell says StackStorm can be used to not only automate that management of application workloads on the Microsoft Azure cloud, but also other cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services or an OpenStack-compatible cloud.

Few days back I was just thinking over, as to if the CRMs were so very effective at driving sales, and so the commission attached to it, why does every sales person detests it? It is one of those tools that makes everyone’s job a lot more easily and hence empowering them to earn more in form of commissions. After all we all love earning more and more money – conveniently.

Microsoft has forged a workaround for Node.js's inability to run on Windows on ARM devices. According to the blog post, developers can have Node.js "take advantage of running with the Chakra JavaScript engine, which is part of the OS on Windows 10 and has been optimized to run efficiently on WoA devices since its inception.
