d-Wise can help you make these decisions. You have chosen d-Wise to integrate and want to leverage their expertise in quickly implementing and deploying the solution to meet your urgent business goals. The project team is incomplete because you need d-Wise experts to assist with the design and development of the solution. Goal is to deliver a complete solution that is deployed and ready to use. As part of this engagement, a dedicated d-Wise expert will assist your team in their initial steps with integration. They will jointly define and document the functional and technical requirements. The overall solution will be designed and a design document prepared for sign-off. A highly iterative approach is taken at this stage to build-test-review the solution a number of times till it is ready for acceptance testing and deployment into a production environment. This ensures success and rapid completion of the project.

Schemas in Gmail — Google Developers

Schemas in Gmail — Google Developers | Cloud Central | Scoop.it

Increase user engagement with interactions in emails, Google Search, and Google Now, by adding markup to emails.

Peter Azzopardi's insight:

Developers Corner:

Email is an important part of how we get things done -- from planning an event with friends to organizing a trip to Paris. So much information is contained inside emails -- like the details of a dinner party or travel itinerary -- and so many emails require action -- like RSVP, or flight checkin.

By adding schema.org markup to the emails you send your users, you can make that information available across their Google experience, and make it easy for users to take quick action. Gmail, Google Search and Google Now all already use this structured data.

Doing Facebook OAuth with Nokia S40/J2ME devices

Doing Facebook OAuth with Nokia S40/J2ME devices | Cloud Central | Scoop.it
Doing Facbook OAuth on Nokia S40 and J2ME devices is the biggest challenge while creating the social Apps for this platform because of unavailability of the Facebook J2ME SDK and inapp browser limitation of J2ME devices.
Peter Azzopardi's insight:

The S40 and now Asha mobile phones are a very important market for Nokia in Asia. Due to these platforms being poorly represented in the West it is always going to be difficult to find Western Social Networks allowing easy integration. ShepHertz via their App42 platform have created a way by which developers for these two Nokia OSs are now able to communicate with Facebook.

Image: Patrick Hoesly/Flickr Brick-and-mortar retailers have long favored highly visible investments, such as advertising or store design over spending
Peter Azzopardi's insight:

Not all that surprising! "The result is that retailers use only about 10% to 15% of the computer capacity in their data centers. Some 85% is sitting idle at any time. Huge economies of scale could be gained by using the same infrastructure across multiple applications in a cloud-computing architecture."

Cloud Computing and Data Residency Laws

Cloud Computing and Data Residency Laws | Cloud Central | Scoop.it

Cloud service providers store data all over the globe, and are constantly moving that data from one datacenter to the next for reasons as wide-ranging as cost considerations and redundancy requirements. Does this mean that the requirements outlined in varying data residency laws and privacy regulations are directly at odds with how cloud computing works?

Peter Azzopardi's insight:

Excellent article! Cloud Encryption, similar to what Mega are using, where the decryption key is held by the client rather than the cloud storage providor would solve most of the issues.
