How One Classroom Actually Used iPads To Go Paperless (Part 1: Research)

How One Classroom Actually Used iPads To Go Paperless (Part 1: Research) | CLIL Teacher Education | Scoop.it

Writing, researching and sharing could all be conducted within Evernote. When combined with the Evernote Safari Web Clipper, web based research could also be conducted and shared directly to an Evernote research folder. Another helpful resource is the Evernote email address, that would allow teachers and classmates to send work to one another throughout the process.

many creative options to explore....

Coach Jeffery's curator insight, January 9, 2013 9:38 AM

ReadWriteThink provides templates for a variety of writing projects that incorporate a cube. The Bio Cube may be used after students have read, or before they write, a biography (or autobiography). The Mystery Cube will help them recall a mystery story after they have read it, or to pre-write one on their own. There is also a story Cube that will help them map out "key elements of a story" and there is Create-Your-Own Cube...you select the questions to a topic and then respons.

Alison Hewett's curator insight, January 30, 2013 1:17 PM

LITERACY. This would be an interesting tool to explore to see if it is useful at our upper year levels.

Presentista is everything PowerPoint is NOT.

It's easy to use and creates visually strong presentations in 2D or 3D.
It allows you to shape your story first.
It's mobile.
It's social... and viral!
It's web-based or desktop-based. Your choice.
It allows your Mac created presentations to run on a PC. With no glitches.
It even makes adding images and movies natural.
