I remember seeing a few re-runs of this show, which was off the air by the time I found it as a kindergartener. It made my grandmother SO nervous to have me able to write on the TV. I don't know what she ever did with my Magic Window, but it totally disappeared after one or two uses.

I was surprised later in life to learn that Moms Mabley, much like Red Foxx, had a long reputation for a pretty vulgar show. When I was growing up she was a regular on the family talk show circuit and funny as all get out!
