Free Technology for Teachers: Use Your Voice to Give Students Feedback on Google Drive - Cool Kaizena Updates | Digital Tools for the Classroom | Scoop.it

Kaizena is an outstanding web based tool that allows teachers to provide audio feedback on student work that has been created and shared through as Google Docs. Kaizena is not a native tool in a Google Drive account, but can be added through the Google Drive apps store. Alternatively, teachers and students can go to the Kaizena website and connect the app to an existing Google Drive account.

The digital age might be making kids smarter than their predecessors. In a study of freshman composition papers across generations, there's a similar amount of errors, but papers are longer and more complex these days. Maybe texting and Twitter aren't dumbing us down after all?

Now the time has come for NEW INNOVATION: "First:  Simplicity of Set UP. The user could take the computer out of the box, plug it in, and be ready to go." Steve Jobs

The design of the product comes first, the development of the hardware had to follow to fit the design, never the other way around. Design goes into the very inner workings of a device.

How a Radical New Teaching Method Could Unleash a Generation of Geniuses

How a Radical New Teaching Method Could Unleash a Generation of Geniuses | Digital Tools for the Classroom | Scoop.it

Juárez Correa didn’t know it yet, but he had happened on an emerging educational philosophy, one that applies the logic of the digital age to the classroom. That logic is inexorable: Access to a world of infinite information has changed how we communicate, process information, and think. Decentralized systems have proven to be more productive and agile than rigid, top-down ones. Innovation, creativity, and independent thinking are increasingly crucial to the global economy.
