Regional economic integration in the Middle East and North Africa : beyond trade reform (English) | The World Bank | CIHEAM Press Review | Scoop.it

Limited integration has stifled the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region's ability to tap into its significant potential for economic growth and job creation. The MENA region is among the least integrated in the world economy. Although home to 5.5 percent of the world's population and 3.9 percent of the world's gross domestic product (GDP), the region's share of nonoil world trade is only 1.8 percent.

La Tunisie prépare un cadre juridique spécifique du tourisme alternatif, a annoncé, lundi 2 mars, la ministre du Tourisme et de l'Artisanat, Salma Elloumi-Rekik. Ce cadre s'inscrit dans le cadre de la nouvelle stratégie visant à développer le tourisme alternatif de manière à diversifier et renforcer la compétitivité du produit touristique national, a-t-elle ajouté à l'ouverture de la 3ème rencontre sur le projet du Réseau méditerranéen ouvert du tourisme durable, tenue à Tunis.

L'agriculture est le deuxième employeur de France et recrute chaque année, non sans difficultés 50.000 salariés permanents.

On Twitter recently, someone asked the question “Why do people doubt science?” Accompanying the tweet was a link to an article in National Geographic that implied people who are suspicious of vaccines, genetically modified organisms (GMOs), climate change, fluoridated water and various other phenomena are confused, adhere to conspiracy theories, are motivated by ideology or are misinformed as a result of access to the ‘University of Google.’ The remedy, according what is said in the article, is for us all to rely on scientific evidence pertaining to these issues and adopt a ‘scientific method’ of thought and analysis and put irrational thought processes to one side.
