TIKCI, "Tools to Improve the Key Competences of Teacher", within the European program Leonardo da Vinci, is a project of transfer of innovation for two years (October 2011- September 2013) whose main objective is:
Contribute to the Development and improvement of the key competences of instructors.
For this purpose five European partners(Confebask, KPEDU, SPI, HRDC and BDA) who make up the work-team, have developed a work plan from an initial self-learning tool of Confebask, the project coordinator. Initially this tool had allowed the instructors to measure their skill level and consider adjustments.
During the project the partners have established a work plan whose main results will be: a map of key competences of instructors, a portfolio that allows them to analyze their level of competence and different tools for self-education, to improve those skills which have been detected more deficiencies. In the last phase of TIKCI the partners will try to find ways for such training and these core competencies are certified.
