chunpongtsang's insight:

Good article for me to wirte the following assessment. Despite IMC many benefits, Integrated Marketing Communications has many barriers. In addition to the usual resistance to change and the special problems of communicating with a wide variety of target audiences, there are many other obstacles which restrict IMC. These include: Functional Silos; Stifled Creativity; Time Scale Conflicts and a lack of Management know-how.

The important is that understanding the barriers is helpful and it is the first step in successfully implementing IMC.

chunpongtsang's insight:

Social media contests are a fast way to generate interest in the brand and have others spread the good news about the products or services. It tend to favor quantity over quality though which should lead to at least a little bit of skepticism when it comes to their validity.

This article disscuss that Five do's and five don't for "Successful contests", e.g. should consider what type of contest best suits your interests and your audience. Define your rules very specifically, no Break laws or rules, etc. Do well for that can help your business engaging your target audience and customer base in an interactive experience, which can leave customers a good impression on the brand and establish a long term relationship with the customers.
