Having read the book Almost Christian this article illustrates a rising trend in young adults. How can the church address this debacle? By listening to its youth, and trying to find ways to authenticate Jesus's beliefs in their lives.

This article barely mentions young earth creationism. I usually find that is about 50 percent of what atheists want to talk about.
This is like, "Let's try to reach atheists without worrying about whether we've embraced pseudoscience." Sorry, but for most atheists, that ain't gonna happen.
Christians have become more interested in market research than in questioning long-held assumptions about the Bible. Christianity is "broken" today, but the idea is that we just need to learn more about our "target audience." Yeah, right!
"No," they might reply, "we need to listen to people."
How about listening to God?
