This is yet another powerful piece from the folks at TeachThought. The list of apps will keep the most stalwart educator busy for quite some time. I love how the author starts out saying "none of these...is perfect" but the sheer variety is impressive and could help build a strong 21st century learning platform.

This is done in my son's school and depending on who set the project it can work really well. If though the teacher has not worked with the school librarian it doesn't work quite as well.

Being connected is not easy....on Twitter building relationships and co-moderating and participating in education chats. Constantly reading (and writing!) blogs; all this in the pursuit of being a better teacher. Although the time it takes to develop a network is substantial, the benefits of connection far outweigh the efforts.
