Anti-government protesters said on June 13 that they would remain in Istanbul's Gezi Park despite a "last warning" by Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to evacuate the green patch at the center of deadly anti-government unrest. June 19, 2013: A young girl sits cross-legged with a Coca-Cola can as riot police block protesters from entering a court in Rome on June 18. About 500 protesters showed up to demonstrate against forced evictions & tried to enter the Civil Court via Lepanto. Police used riot shields to stop protesters from entering the building. About 20 injuries were reported.(MSN.com)

Great Britain reportedly has more surveillance cameras per person than any other nation in the world. Members of NO CCTV argue that the alleged tradeoff in security does not justify the threat to privacy. The demonstrators want to educate the public about the issue. (MSN.com)
