New Zealand's business leaders have issued an open letter to Labour and the Greens criticising their controversial electricity policy, which may reduce power prices for industrial

Labour Green energy proposal may reduce power prices for industrial and commercial users.  Generators would receive a price for power based on individual cost and fair return on capital.  Business groups are concerned with the investment effects and $1.4 billion potential shareholders value may be wiped out of the private power companies.  The plan should boost economy and create 5,000 jobs and reduce energy costs of homes and businesses.
