Home Secretary Theresa May condemns Rotherham officials who failed to act as 1,400 children were abused

Deborah Ann Wickham's insight:

Thank god for people like Home Secretary Theresa May. She got to the truth and condemns it. Like everyone else should, that work to protect our children while in care etc. There are so many cover ups going on all over the world about appalling things of this nature. Yet to prove it is near on impossible. We need so many other people  in this world like Theresa May. Because this sort of thing is happening every where. I just pray those who turned a blind eye to this happening....get what is coming to them. They should never work with children again and put on a register, so they can be named and shamed. People that do this sort of thing, knowing what is or has gone on, are just as guilty as the predators.

Deborah Ann Wickham's insight:

How is it possible for them to keep getting away with this ????

how many sad...unhappy...lonely and feeling unloved children have to die.... Before something is done. My God people .....please...please take the time to do a little research on this terribly sad situation.

My god... I know animals are important, as I have three beautiful dogs...but when I see more being done for animals over children and their families.....it really breaks my heart.

If we can not stand up for other human beings......children who are our FUTURE....what is to become of us ???

This case - well every case - makes me so sad, but once you meet the family involved, it just becomes that much more personal. This little girl was failed tremendously as was her family who reached out for help and instead their loved one simply stagnated in her environment without treatment. On top of it all, the girl was obviously crying out - so many visible signs - fb images on KC's page show symbols of death as do her sketch book. - VM

The stolen generations: an unending disaster for Australia

The fact that so many Indigenous children continue to be taken into care
is deeply concerning – but there are no simple answers, writes Andrew Solomon, the

Deborah Ann Wickham's insight:

Children are being taken from their loving and no abusive homes by Government Departments from all over the world.

Will it ever stop????

Only when there is a Royal Commission into these Departments will most of the truth be told. It took the Government of Australia more than 50 years to say they got it wrong the first time around and so many children and their families suffered because of what the Government  did and now they are making the same mistake yet again but this time they are not targeting one race of people.

This time it's happening to anyone. I can't  believe they didn't learn by their mistakes the first time around.

WE...as the parents and Grandparents of these children need to stand together on this. If you know you have been treat unfairly or unjust connect  with others in the same situation. It has to stop. Before more damage is done, to the children and the families of these children.
