I see this all the time - science GCSE is a terrible predictor of success at A level Chemistry, leading to students with exaggerated expectations and unrealistic career plans.

Check out the following page for some Google Docs tips and secrets for not only teachers but students too! This online resource can often get a little tricky and the layout of it is always changing! I learnt a few things so go on check it out :)

JSME: a free molecule editor in JavaScript

Works very smoothly on desktop - but also supposed to work on Android and iPhones.

Unfortunately, there is no way of downloading an image (SMILES and molfiles are possible via drag-an-drop), so JChemPaint is still a useful addition.
