Lately, there's been more interest in moving toward adding recovery treatment to methadone at least in Pennsylvania. I say its about time. I worked at Addiction Specialists, inc which is offering recovery treatment. ASI offers treatment, partial, rehab and group therapy. More clinics need to follow their example. Methadone clients need more counseling and group therapy. The drug alone only stops withdrawal. It doesn't stop the obsession or urge to get high. It doesn't change your environment.
