This type of dolphin is a rather rare species zoologist are trying to examine them more but only 6 of them have been studied. They are called hourglass dolphin because of the strip that runs down there back resembles the figure of an hourglass

University of Melbourne researchers observed the behaviour of 30 Koalas during hot weather at French Island, to the city's east. They found that while panting and licking their fur helps koalas cool down, this can also lead to dehydration.

koalas actually find the colder tree to hug to try and cool them self's down under the hot sun.

In central africa there is a rare type of elephants they where left unharmed for a while in till a civil war broke out. The researcher that was there studing them was forced to leave because of the war when she came back the population of the elephants had survierly loss a large number of elephants and she started up a program to help protect this sanctuary of elephants

A group of seaentist have put a mounted camara on falcons to study the hunting  tactics of falcons and they learned that they use a strategy called 'motion camouflage' where the predator does not seem to be moving from the point of view of the prey.

This story is maniy about a study that took a while and they analyzed the body orientation of 70 dogs of different breeds during more than 7,000 observations, including just under 2,000 instances of defecation and nearly 5,600 instances of urination, during a two-year period, but how ever researchers found out that when dogs urinate they aline them selfs with the poles, the north and sourth pole

a frog species that charles darwin found in chile on his voyage. Has gone exticted just recently due to a fungal disease named chytridiomycosis. This is one of few animal species that have died off by diseases.
