I've heard that the nursing program at EvCC is really good. And it prepares students very well. This site gives you good information on the program itself and how it helps students. Also it gives you links to different parts of the website that gives you information on cost and all the important things.

If it turns out that I don't feel able to pay for a university, EVCC actually had a pretty good and rigorous nursing program. This would be much cheaper than UW or Whitworth.

This article is giving people that are becoming a nurse, tips. The tip that struck me was "caffiene is your friend" because when you become a nurse you are going to work long shifts and even do over night shifts. I would have to get used to that since I am used to sleeping during the night.

I really liked this video because it gave me a little background on someone's personal experience while still in nursing school. There was a lot of information on having to be responsible in being in nursing school. Also she gave some really good tips on how to study and where.

This article explains the steps you need to take to apply Nursing schools, I wish I had read this earlier in my high school life because it explains that you need to take Physcology and four years of english. Now that I am in my senior year, it is too late to take some of those classes. But I can take those classes during college and then apply to the Nursing Schools.

This information is very useful in learning how to apply to nursing school, but also ways to increase your chances of getting in. The first step that is needed is to be organized and prepared. Tips that are useful when getting into a nursing school is to finish prerequisites as much as you can in high school. Later, gain experience in the field, compare nursing schools, avoid the waiting list, and to apply early.

The average hourly wages for Registered Nurse in Seattle, Bellevue, and Everett WA is about $37.68/ hour.  An entry level person could plan on making $26.31/ hour and $50.06/ hour in a more senior position. So when I i first become a nurse, I can make pretty good money for starting out. The more education I recieve in Nursing, the more salary I will make.
