Megablaster: a littleBits Project by elaine-littleBits

Megablaster: a littleBits Project by elaine-littleBits | Career Development | Scoop.it

IT'S A BIRD! IT'S A PLANE! IT'S SUPER KID! If you could have one superpower, what would it be? Would you walk through walls? Turn bad guys to stone? With a few Bits and a little imagination, you can blast that power onto anything!

These instructions correspond to the Gizmos & Gadgets Kit: 2nd Edition. If you have the first edition of the Gizmos & Gadgets Kit, please refer to those instructions. They can be found here.

HOW IT WORKS:

The p1 power Bit sends signal into the circuit.
The i5 slide dimmer controls how much signal is passed to the following Bits.
The w1 wire passes the signal to the bargraph and gives more flexibility in placing your Bits. It lets you hold the bargraph in your hand while the rest of the circuit stays on your wrist.
The o9 bargraph turns on all the way when it receives full signal.

When you're done building your invention, keep the fun going by following the Invention Cycle below!

PLAY: Become the ultimate superhero! Make a costume to match your Megablaster and start saving the world!

REMIX: Amp-up your powers by making changes to your Megablaster!

ADD SOUND EFFECTS. Snap the buzzer on to the circuit for an extra power boost!
GO UNDERCOVER. Put the circuit inside your jacket, or on your backpack for surprise doses of powers.
GIVE POWERS TO YOUR PET! When you're done playing super hero, you can pass the power to your pet by securing the circuit to its collar.

SHARE: Did you foil a sinister plot? Save the neighborhood cat? Show us how you did it! Take some pictures or make a video of how you used your MegaBlaster and upload it to the littleBits Invent App.
