People don’t want to sell their souls anymore; they want to make a difference in their careers."

"Employees are tired of the reality shows that take place within their companies."

"People are well aware of the powerful changes that are taking place across multiple fronts.  ...the U.S. economy; the new skill-sets,...the demographic shift,... the rapidly increasing online connectivity amongst 2 billion people,... just to name a few." - Glenn Liopis, http://blogs.forbes.com/glennllopis/

Glenn provides various signs to be aware of as you consider your career growth where you are, or maybe where you should be instead.

Only you can decide the path you need to walk. My only advice, find a job and a company you believe in and your growth will be both internal and external.

John Lasseter of Pixar/Disney Animation on Steve Jobs' Genius, the magic of animation, voice casting and much, much more... | Charlie Rose PBS | Career Development-649GV | Scoop.it

I happened to catch this fascinating new interview with John Lasseter on Charlie Rose last Friday night. Among other things he talks about Steve Jobs' genius, George Lucas' legacy, "Brave," the future of animation, voice casting (they choose voice actors that inspire animators), art and and of course, storytelling. It is well worth your time; especially if you love film-making, animation, Pixar and/or Disney, or like most of us, all of the above!
