Evidence again and again at the complex issues that occur in off shore trade deals. Lying, cheating & stealing or as the news reports "bid-rigging" are some of the tools used to shut down our manufacturing. Canadian trade minister calls on U.S. to repeal "discriminatory" meat labelling following ruling
Bruce Hyde's insight:

The amazing failure of government to understand the deceptive and manipulative nature of "free trade agreements" is nothing less than stupidity and ignorance. When you shake hands in a trade deal the race to lie, cheat and steal too gain advantage begins. The same is true for elected government as they promise the sun the moon and the stars only to deliver debt. Government's need to train and qualify themselves before they negotiate a deal with the devil.

There was a reason our fathers fought for borders and trade barriers. Our fathers did not fight for the fun of it and they are rolling in their graves as dummies give it all away.

TPP, CETA present Canadian businesses with a 'unique' trade opportunity - Canadian Manufacturing

TPP, CETA present Canadian businesses with a 'unique' trade opportunity - Canadian Manufacturing | CARBIDE TV The Machinist Channel | Scoop.it
As worldwide trade barriers continue to fall, Canada is securing all the right partners; now Canadian firms just need to take advantage
Bruce Hyde's insight:

This is about as dumb as it gets, as developing nations continue to kill our core manufacturing jobs, we expect we will figure out a cheaper formula, take back our job's with some of their's.

Every trade deal fails which is why trade barriers were created. If trade deals did not fail we would have removed all the boarders that were created to protect us. Mankind regularly goes to war to create boarders too manage dispute.

New politicians suggest we wave a white flag, surrender and hope they will not enslave our children. Las Vegas offers a free trade deal; leave your money as we entertain you. The few winners say it isn't so; they claim the losers were just not educated enough.

Our fathers fought to protect our society and they roll in their graves as we give it away!
