Jack Andraka, who used to be commonly refereed to as the "cancer paper boy" is a high school sophomore who developed a revolutionary new test to diagnose pancreatic cancer, one of the most deadly diseases known to mankind.
When it comes to uncovering solutions to prevention, treatment and cures, we need to listen to people like Jack. It is not age but curiousity, innovation and out of the box thinking that will get us to the solutions we do not yet have.
Jack was turned down by 199 universities when he contacted them about his breakthrough ideas around screening for pancreatic cancer before finding the lab space to test out his theories.
