Alkaline Food Chart ~ Each food item is assigned a number which reflects its approximate value of alkalinity (+) or acidity (-) in one ounce of food. The higher the number, the better it is for you to eat.
anarchic_teapot's insight:

There seems to be a huge fad for this "alkaline foods" nonsense, as if  the somewhat arbitrary acid/alkaline clasiffication had the slightest resemblance to reality, let alone health.

Limes, lemons and tomatoes are alkaline? Cayenne pepper is a vegetable? Fish is bad for you?

Fuckwits. Just another braindead fad diet.

Either this guy has very poor English - always possible - or else he took a pre-shatten blurb penned in a foreign language and Google-translated into English, shoved it onto his site without reading it, and started tweeting the link to attract marks. Or possibly flies. Hard to  tell.

What isn't hard to tell is that the practice of taking semi-coherent pre-written texts and using them to pad out the webshite is rife among quacks, especially chiros.

You'd almost think it was a drive to make money at all costs while spending as little as possible.

It's only water: "Dr" Shreya: Dealing with Constipation Homeopathically! | CAMwatch | Scoop.it
Make your mornings pleasant with homeopathy! Deal with constipation naturally!... http://t.co/6DtGiefAjG
anarchic_teapot's insight:

Yes, homeopathy - a.k.a. pure water - can help with constipation. If, of course, it's because you tend to be dehydrated: senior citizens, nursing mothers, that sort of thing.

Otherwise, everyday constipation can be mostly avoided by:

- Eating less meat and more fresh fruit and vegetables

- Eating fewer refined/processed foods

- Laying off the fatty foods

- Drinking less booze and sugary beverages, more fruit juice and (above all) water

If it still isn't happening for you, see a doctor. Not, and this is *important*, a homeopath, self-styled nutritionist, chiropractor, herbalist, acupuncturist or any other variant of the magical mystery cure scam.
