Walmart has 28 million Facebook fans. "It's the biggest fan page in the United States," Kerry Lakin, a senior account manager for Facebook, told an audience of national retail executives and others in Tucson Friday at the University of Arizona's Global Retailing Conference. "That's more fans than Facebook has," Lakin said. Building relationships with customers through social-media platforms was a hot topic Friday at the retailing conference at Loews Ventana Canyon, where fashion designer Tory Burch also spoke.

FRENCHTOWN – Robert Wesley White died at home Monday, May 20, 2013.

 

Born March 13, 1928, in Columbus, Ohio, Robert was the second son of two boys born to Maurice and Hazel White.

 

After graduating from high school, Robert enlisted in the U.S. Navy, where he served for eight years. While in the Navy, he obtained a pilot’s license and graduated from Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in agriculture. He received his master’s degree from the University of Arizona.

Fish farmed in Arizona sold in Canada | FishfarmingXpert

As previously stated by this FishfarmingXpert writer, one of the ways so-called “closed containment” fish farming can work is when one has access to a supply of either warm water or a source of cheap heating energy where fast-growing fresh-water fish can be produced in a short turn-around time. One such farm that is supplying the Canadian largely Asian community with fresh fish is Desert Springs Tilapia, and Mary Carroll, a student at the University of Arizona recently described this operation and its operational advantages.
