State's First Public Veterinary School To Open Next Fall | KJZZ (Radio-Tempe)

The University of Arizona is set to open the state’s first public veterinary school next fall.
Thanks to a $9 million grant, the U of A will open learning centers in rural Arizona to address critical veterinary shortages.
Shane Burgess is the Dean of the Agriculture and Life Sciences College. He said this program will give doctors of veterinary medicine hands-on, real-word training.

Gift to Support the University of Arizona’s Veterinary Medical and Surgical Program | Yuma News Now
