Arizona Farming & Ranching Hall of Fame Announces 2016 Honorees

Arizona Farming & Ranching Hall of Fame Announces 2016 Honorees | CALS in the News | Scoop.it
na agricultural pioneers have been selected for membership in the Arizona Farming and Ranching Hall of Fame instead of the traditional eight. The 2016 inductees are: living; Irene Echeverria Aja, Buckeye; Gloria England, Coolidge; Hubert (George) and Shirley Murdock, Roll; Dr. Kurt Nolte, Yuma and Dorothy (Dot) Webb, Phoenix. Those being inducted posthumously are: Thayer Collier; Goodyear; Ferdinand Etchart, Tolleson; Paul Weeks Litchfield, Litchfield Park; Antonio Maldonado, Glendale and Joe Sheely, Phoenix.

The honorees were chosen for their contributions in the fields of farming, ranching, Agri-business, education or science by an impartial panel of Arizonans with a diversity of backgrounds. They will be inducted at the 2016 Arizona Farming and Ranching Hall of Fame Honoree Dinner in March, 2016 and their stories will be included in volume two of the Arizona Farming and Ranching Hall of Fame, preserving the herit
