Good article which highlights the pervasiveness of brain injury in America.  Did you know?

  • 2.1 Million received ER treatment for head trauma
  • 300,000 were hospitalized
  • 84,000 sought outpatient treatment
  • 1.1. received treatment from physicians; and
  • 53,000 people died .... as a result of traumatic brain injury (TBI) last year in the U.S.
