Jared Stewart's curator insight, March 27, 2015 2:57 AM

While artificial intelligence is still in its early days, it is clear from this article that a real working artificial intelligence is a very real possibility for the future.

Patrick Bolter's curator insight, March 27, 2015 3:49 AM

An interesting article that shows just how far artificial intelligence has progressed, and how it still has room to grow.

Geoff Ahloy-Martin's curator insight, March 27, 2015 5:41 AM

Artificial intelligence that learns through experiences definitely shows an eerily familiar side of technology. The AI used in these demonstrations was able to learn how to complete tasks in video games. This does show how it's possible for AI to be able to learn and adapt to various situations even in virtual environments, and it is probable that this kind of technology will be applied to much higher forms of learning. There is a possibility that it could even surpass human levels of learning, creating valuable resources, assuming of course, that its own self-awareness does not place the human race in a robotic doomsday scenario, but I digress.
