In an economy where graduate posts are few and far between, it would seem that little is being done to help graduates get their foot in the door with businesses around the country. However, the Scottish government appears to be leading the way with a new pilot scheme which sees around £505,000 of funds implemented to allow a number of small businesses in selected areas of Scotland to open their doors to around 100 graduates, providing secure jobs and that vital first step in their career.
