Good read from Jane Sheeba's blog about productivity. My favorite nugget? "Your productivity does not depend on the time you are trying to work, but it rather depends on the time you are actually working on."


Any time one of my kids says "I'm trying mom" my response is "trying is not doing". Same thing applies here.

 

You can't count the time you were thinking about working on that major project or the time you spent pondering over where you'd like to be in 10 years.  That's not productivity.

 

Completing that next action on your project list before the deadline or actually starting that savings account now...that's productvity
