The Sleeve - Billiard Engineering

The Sleeve - Billiard Engineering | Business News & Finance | Scoop.it

Hello Kickstarter!  We’re passionate about playing pool and like most of you, we can’t stand the pool stick grabbing the skin of the bridge hand. It disrupts concentration and causes inconsistencies between strokes.  This sticky stick problem has been around since cue sports were originally invented in the 15th century.  We have uniquely solved this centuries old problem!  Your bridge hand never touches the cue stick.

The Sleeve is Billiard Engineering’s patent pending new product that solves the sticky stick problem regardless of the cause (hand perspiration, natural oils in the skin, skin & cue contamination, condensation on that beer glass, etc.). The Sleeve utilizes advanced polymer plastics and an expanding design that accommodates the pool cue taper.  It fits over the stick and consists of 5 identical laterally placed plastic components (slats) with a silicone band at each end.  The Sleeve smoothly expands and contracts as it slides up and down the shaft.
