Business meetings can consume far more time than warranted, and if the cost of conducting meetings was better understood by business owners, more care would be taken when scheduling them.


The cost of meetings is not confined just to the cost of the participants time in attending, and when all additional costs are considered, the return on investment is usually in negative territory unless the meetings are very successful in terms of the outcomes achieved.
