Milos Crafts's insight:
This is a ridiculous situation!!! I can receive goods from outside Greece and pay next to nothing...but if I want to send goods outside Greece the cost is exorbitantly high. Is there a reason why global couriers demand at least 6 times the price to transport goods outside Greece?
LONDON, United Kingdom — An atmosphere of economic and geopolitical uncertainty combined with currency fluctuations, pockets of social strife and a slowing China present a serious mix of challenges for luxury companies. Here are the top 10 risks facing the luxury industry today.
You will know that Google uses hundreds of ranking signals to return the most relevant results for a search, plus many filters to remove spammy or duplicate results too. But it’s rare for Google to announce what these are or to disclose new signals. So, the recent announcement from the Google Webmaster Blog that use of a HTTPS (HTTP Secure) will be used as a positive ranking signal prompted many, particular retailers who will already use HTTP Secure in checkout, to take notice. Google’s precise words were:
“Over the past few months we’ve been running tests taking into account whether sites use secure, encrypted connections as a signal in our search ranking algorithms. We’ve seen positive results, so we’re starting to use HTTPS as a ranking signal”.

Brands need to become media companies.

Here's a hint: You can catch more flies with honey than you can vinegar. Your Customers have behaviors that cost your organization money. An excellent example is those Customers that still want a paper statement. The costs associated with sending a paper statement are enormous for an organization, while electronic statements are much less. When Customers get charged for a paper statement, it’s annoying and generates negative feelings toward the company, and rarely encourages them to do what you want. If you reward Customers for making the switch to eStatements, however, they are far more likely to make the switch and have positive feelings for doing so.
Quick-fix mentality. Steve Jobs said, “Half of what separates the successful entrepreneurs from the non-successful ones is pure perseverance” and if you’re not passionate about what you do, you won’t stick with it. Too many people want instant gratification these days. That’s not going to cut it..
