This infographic provides 21 digital tools that help build vocabulary. It is split into the following sections:

* Reference Tools

* Word Clouds
* Games and Reviews

* Word Walls and More

Why use digital tools?  Here are a few reasons (and there are many more). They allow students to hear spoken words; often words are acccompanied with images, providing a deeper understanding; students may play and manipulate words; and create virtual word walls. We are told to personalize instruction today and digital tools help us do that. Teaching vocabulary is critical and these tools will provide you with resources for a range of students. For more information on the tools you might look at the original post located at http://www.learningunlimitedllc.com/2013/02/20-digital-tools-for-vocabulary/
