Muy interesante este ideagrama en el que nos muestra la efectividad de los "Modelos visuales" a la hora de solucionar problemas/retos complejos, ayudando a "seguir el hilo" y hacerlos tangibles. Delete the scoop?

Our Choices Have Impact We cannot make decisions without considering systems, because we live and lead in a systems world. The systems in our world are multicultural, global and complex. ”Systems thinking is a discipline for seeing wholes.” Peter Senge

I had the pleasure of interviewing David Hain for my leadership podcast and we spoke about the value trust has to the bottom line. During the interview, David mentioned the story of Frito Lay and I think the video does a great job of showcasing how business can benefit from this "soft" skill that is so hard to develop and maintain.
Thanks David! I found it :)

Those who subscribe to the great man theory believe that history’s course is determined by the impact of highly capable individuals. While many disagree, it’s hard to argue that talented individuals have not played a part. However, by now it’s clear that intelligence has evolved, partly through the global networks mentioned above. While many still focus on great individuals, in fact, it’s the network not the nodes that create real change. Teams, not stars. Platforms, not brands. Movements, not messiahs. Delete the scoop?

(From the article): On breaking habits
"What we know from lab studies is that it's never too late to break a habit. Habits are malleable throughout your entire life. But we also know that the best way to change a habit is to understand its structure — that once you tell people about the cue and the reward and you force them to recognize what those factors are in a behavior, it becomes much, much easier to change." This article is good for the business owner interested in becoming a better, more productive leader. Decision making can be challenging, and as #6 in the article points out, especially if you do not have a clear set of goals. Being clear on your goals, and looking to them as the basis for your decision making, is sure to make everything easier...and more efficient!
Give this a quick read, and more importantly, some serious thought. What two points could you incorporate to make your business more successful? Delete the scoop?

Here is the thing: any project that is on-time, on-budget or that has shiny deliverables coming out of our ears will not guarantee that the change from the current state to the future state has been accomplished. And even less of those project-characteristics will guarantee that the change will be sustained when the project is adjourned. None of them.
