Nicholas Alderidge's curator insight, October 8, 2015 12:24 PM

Now we all have an idea who Jay-Z is well he owns one  the newest and controversial streaming services right now. Tidal, a few weeks ago came out with a new service called Rising. I think that the whole Tidal idea is great I mean with almost a 10% increase across the board monetary wise for independent artists with Tidal X and Discover the new products are always being unveiled . The new feature added to Tidal gives another key to someone wanting their music heard. With integrated ways to see who is listening and where they are listening it's an overall great addition in my eyes.

And while the company has not yet made it to a marquee category, Arcade Fire's 2011 win for best album shows victory for an independent is pos
