L’économie collaborative et le crowdfunding viennent de passer un nouveau cap en France. Ces nouvelles tendances intéressent désormais le secteur de la grande distribution. Le groupe Auchan a, en effet, annoncé hier avoir noué un partenariat exclusif avec l’américain Quirky. Fondée en 2009 par Ben Kaufman, 23 ans, la plateforme Quirky permet aux internautes de transformer leurs idées en véritables produits commercialisables pour 10 dollars.

I love how this pops up every few years or so. This design is more than 20 years old. I used to get these "Future Tech" cards when I was a little kid - this was included. Look at the driver's area - it looks exactly like the future was supposed to look - from the perspective of the mid-1980s.

Corporate IT departments will shrink by as much as 75% over the next five years as businesses adapt to the cloud and changing economic conditions, a major study by business advisory group CEB has revealed. IT departments will take on the role of advising the business on technology decisions, rather than commissioning technology themselves, with huge consequences for the skills IT professionals need, the study predicts.
“IT teams will be much smaller, they will be focused on delivering services and their technical capability will be more focused on making IT easier to use,” said Andrew Horne, managing director of the CEB's IT leadership council, in an interview with Computer Weekly.

LES SMART CITIES : UN NOUVEAU CONCEPT DE VILLES INTELLIGENTES ET DURABLES Face à une démographie croissante, les villes se trouvent confrontées à de nombreux problèmes de ressources (espace, mobilité, financement…) et doivent imaginer de nouvelles solutions. Le traitement efficace des problèmes d’urbanisation est donc devenu une priorité mondiale. C’est dans ce contexte qu’est né le concept des « smart cities », villes intelligentes et modernes qui, grâce au développement du numérique, seront à l’avenir capable de déployer des infrastructures communicantes et durables pour améliorer le confort des citoyens tout en se développant dans le respect de l’environnement.

Cette année-là, les trois premières places étaient détenues par LVMH (qui passe à la 9eme place), Michelin, et Danone. Au fond du classement, les positions ne bougent pas beaucoup et la lanterne rouge est détenue par Arcelor Mittal, précédé de Total, France Telecom (Orange) et Vivendi.
