"An analysis in The Times — “1.5 Million Missing Black Men” — showed that more than one in every six black men in the 24-to-54 age group has disappeared from civic life, mainly because they died young or are locked away in prison. This means that there are only 83 black men living outside of jail for every 100 black women — in striking contrast to the white population, where men and women are about equal in numbers."

Equity planning can be a key tool for maximizing strategic efforts to support men of color. This webinar will address how to develop equity plans that specify clear goals, objectives, interventions, and measures that can lead to success for men of color.
This webinar is part of the schedule of activities for the National Consortium on College Men of Color. The consortium is hosted by the Minority Male Community College Collaborative (M2C3) in partnership with the Community College League of California (CCLC), National Association of Diversity Officers in Higher Education (NADOHE), and African American Male Education Network and Development (A2Mend).
