Asthma is more common among adult women then adult men. More than 17 million people in America are diagnosed with it. About 30,000 americans have an asthma attack daily.

When you have asthma some of the symptoms could be constant wheezing and coughing, also your chest might tighten and you may have trouble breathing. During a asthma attack you may have trouble talking, turn blue or pass out.

Signs and Symptoms of Asthma

 

It is good to know when you have asthma so you can take action quickly and avoid having an asthma attack. Some signs and symptoms of asthma can include: wheezing, coughly, shortness of breath and chest tightness. However if you have these symptoms it doesn't nessesarily mean you have asthma but you should see your family doctor immediately.

 

The following symptoms clearly show that you' re at risk of asthma:

-Strugging for breath

-Inhaler does not help

-Trouble speaking

-Pale skin

-Sweating quickly

-Blue lips

-Becoming really tried

-Unconsciousness

There is no way of preventing asthma as of yet but there are ways to prevent yourself from having an asthma attack. Such as staying away from air pollution, things that give you allergies, cold weather, smoke and fragrences. The things that you can really control is staying away from things that may trigger your allergies if you have any and staying away from those with the flu virus.

Asthma is a lung disease that will make it hard for you to breath. When you have asthma your breathing passages are very sensitive, when you around certain things or breathing really hard your breathing passages can have a bad reaction. Asthma is not curable but it can be managed.
