What is Lung Cancer? An introduction to Lung Cancer: contains information, diagrams and videos, discusses lung cancer symptoms, diagnosis and treatment.
Brandon Durepos's insight:
Lung cancer is abnormal cells that grow uncontrollably and usually start in one lung. These abnormal cells do not grow properly and spread rapidly throughout the lungs causing tumours. Tumours in the lung become bigger and bigger and as they do so they make it harder for the lungs to provide the bloodstream with oxygen.
The symptons of lung cancer include various things such as long, painful coughing, trouble breathing and swallowing, change in color of the mucus, pain in your chest, shoulder and or back, hoarseness of the voice, and if you cough up blood.
