Bonnie Bracey Sutton's insight:

Ed tech is getting to be a big deal in classrooms; part-and-parcel for the digital age. This infographic explores its development in the K–12 classrooms of today and gives some teachers' insights and opinions, and also gives us a glimpse of what the future holds for the tech-oriented classrooms of tomorrow.”

9 Things You Probably Don't Know About Chromebooks

9 Things You Probably Don't Know About Chromebooks | Educational technology , Erate, Broadband and Connectivity | Scoop.it
Laptops that run Google’s own Chrome operating system (which looks just like the Chrome browser you might be using on your PC or Mac) are cheap, easy to use, and growing in popularity. Debunking the STEM vs. humanities debate

Did you know that almost all of the academic resources that you access online have been thoughtfully, and skillfully, presented by skilled computer technologists? And did you know that those computational experts are also in the humanities?

The field of digital humanities relates to work that is at the “intersection of computational technology and humanities content,” said Johanna Drucker, a professor at UCLA and co-author of the book Digital_Humanities.
