How do you listen?

How do you listen? | Breathing for Business | Scoop.it

When you are willing to listen there's an untold amount of knowledge, experience and perspective just waiting to be shared. From the person who serves you coffee in the morning to the colleague at work for whom we have neither patience nor time, to the three-year old just starting to figure out how to express their thoughts.

Kenneth Mikkelsen's curator insight, December 1, 2015 4:31 AM

We all know what it feels like to have a “lightbulb” moment – that lightning-quick strike of momentary inspiration that plants the seed of genius and sends us racing to the whiteboard. But the feeling of sustained inspiration – a lifelong link to a particular point of reference that moors us, guides us, reminds us of what we might aspire to and what we can achieve – is something much deeper, and much greater.

As it turns out, inspiration has many faces. It spans many centuries. It covers all walks of life, and lives big and small.

Social media can be a challenge in more ways than one for many business owners. Conflicting advice abounds and time pressures makes following any advice difficult for those with limited social media experience. Having a structured approach to getting any business a reasonable level of social media exposure is a key element to success in this arena. Following the approach outlined in this article, will deliver far more, than most hit or miss attempts to gain social media traction.
