Germany-based retail group Rewe is likely to change the name of its Toom hypermarket banner as part of the restructuring of division, according to Lebensmittel Zeitung.

 

While no details have been divulged, it is thought that the new banner will carry a name from its parent group. 'Rewe Center' has been suggested as it is the banner name used in the recent conversion of a number of smaller Toom stores.

Em abril começam os testes no mer­cado português. A Vista Alegre Atlantis prepara mais um passo na internacionalização e vai começar a vender online os produtos das mar­cas do grupo, que pertence à Visa-beira desde 2009. Portugal é o pri­meiro mercadoonline a ficar dispo­nível e vai servir de teste à expansão para todo o mundo, que deverá acontecer até final deste ano. "A ne­cessidade de alavancar a internacio­nalização da marca justifica este in­vestimento", explica Nuno Barra, diretor de marketing e design exter­no da Vista Alegre Atlantis (VAA).

 

A novidade faz parte dos planos de expansão internacional da marca portuguesa, que pertence ao grupo Visabeira desde 2009, e surge depois de a empresa ter percebido que pre­cisa de crescer ainda mais nos mercados externos. A loja online está empreparativos e vai ter preços dife­rentes para cada mercado, que va­riam consoante os impostos e os custos de transporte.

 

Porcelana de alta costura

 

No início do mês, a Vista Alegre apresentou na feira Maison et Objets, em Paris, a primeira linha da coleção assinada pela casa francesa Christian Lacroix, um contrato assi­nado pelos próximos cinco anos. A escolha da casa de alta costura fran­cesa não foi inocente. "Chegámos à conclusão de que há muitos pontos de contacto entre as duas marcas. A Lacroix acabou por ser a escolha pa­ra abrir portas em mercados emer­gentes: está associada ao luxo - mes­mo em mercados maduros - e tem grande notoriedade em mercados como o norte-americano e o fran­cês", acrescenta.

 

O mercado externo representa neste momento 62% do volume de negócios da Vista Alegre Atlantis que, em 2011, terminou o ano com uma faturação de 4 milhões de euros. "Apesar dos sinais de recessão, há muitos mercados onde a marca está a crescer. Vamos conseguir mais do que compensar o que está a per­der", garante Nuno Barra, já depois do relançamento da marca Casa Ale­gre, que deve abrir três lojas em Por­tugal em 2013.

Youtube aparece en segundo lugar, con un 16%, Facebook con el 14% y únicamente el 3% apuesta por Twitter.
